Eser adını güneşin sadece aydınlatmadığı, yakarak dönüştürdüğü andan aldı. Kırmızı ve mavinin en sevdiğim tonlarıyla hayat verdiğim bazı kısımlarında dokular kullandığım pastel ve akriliğin hoş bir kesişimi oldu sevgili “Solna”.

Yüzdeki parçalı renk alanları, kimliğin sabit değil, deneyimlerle ve zamanla sürekli yeniden kurulan bir yapı inşası olduğunu ima edeken figürün gözündeki geometrik müdahale, görmenin yalnızca gözle yapılan fiziksel bir eylem değil, aynı zamanda zihinsel bür süreç olduğunu işaret eder. Solna, insanın acıyla dönüşüm anını; renklerle görünür kılmayı amaçlar. Bu eser, yanmanın yok edici değil, dönüştürücü bir güç olabileceği fikri üzerine çalışır.

The work takes its name from the moment when the sun does not merely illuminate, but burns and transforms. Created with my favorite tones of red and blue, it becomes a delicate intersection of pastel and acrylic, enriched with textured surfaces in certain areas Solna.

The fragmented color fields on the face suggest that identity is not fixed, but rather a structure continuously reconstructed through experience and time. The geometric intervention in the eye indicates that seeing is not only a physical act performed by the eye, but also a mental process. Solna seeks to make visible the moment of transformation through pain, using color as its language. The work is grounded in the idea that burning is not solely destructive, but can also be a transformative force.
